Olivia Camfield “is a multimedia movement artist of the Muscogee Nation, born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. Their work finds connection of dance as body horror, tattooing as protection spells, and farming as Queer Indigenous Futurism.” Woodrow Hunt from Portland “is a Cherokee, Klamath, and Modoc Tribes descendent, who founded Tule Films in May of 2017.” They will be joined by Faustian Headwound, a “doom string quartet linking PNW and Germanic sonic influences to live by.” Body of Eyes (collaboration between Changing Bodies and Tarsier Eyes) will also perform.

Each artist for the evening employs technology and synthesizers in unique ways, spinning spells of ambience punctuated by the occasional electronic beat and sample clip including improvisations in virtual reality spaces.
If you’re in the mood for something more chill less noise, ORQID (experimental electronic ambient), RAICA (electronic), and Kasson Crooker presenting (m)ORPH, “an immersive experience both to performer and audience as he utilizes virtual reality spaces to compose and perform, bringing the audience into his world through video projectors and the sound reinforcement system.” Visuals by Nick Bigelow.
